Gregory Ayodeji Samuel
Gregory Ayodeji Samuel started Molefo, African languages confidence, which was set-up to promote and encourage the speaking of African languages. He holds an Accounting qualification and a degree in Law, LLB Hons.
Greg is active in his local community and has been a candidate for council twice in the London Borough of Havering and a past School Governor of a local school in his community.
Part of Greg’s function at Molefo, is facilitating the study of African languages study by matching experienced tutors to learners, creating awareness on the importance of speaking African languages as a first or second language, his specialty is the teaching of Yoruba language.
Pathway to Yoruba is Greg’s first attempt at creating a foundational manual for the study of Yoruba and he is collaborating with with African languages expert in producing similar in other languages.

Learners come from around the world, some that no one speaks any African language in their household, and some do. We have interests from Brazil, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, Bahamas, Asia, so many to name.
Molefo playground is designed to mix learners up infused with native speakers for social chat in their area of study. Think of it as a real playground, our learners love the playground activities, role plays, games, songs and all that can be done on a playground safe for physical contact. Most importantly learners get to make friends from all around the world.
We run a two hour a week British schools’ calendar year, Learners will most certainly hold a conversation within 50 hours of immersive study. However, we encourage our learners to stay with us for a minimum of two to three school years, this way, they build confidence, polished accent, increased vocabulary with the aim of effective communication just like a native speaker.
We offer over 5 different carefully chosen African languages including Twi, Igbo, Hausa and the ever-popular Yoruba and Kiswahili. We are also working at increasing our language portfolio as the need arises.
We like willing participants, and it is also part of our mission to promote and encourage the speaking of African languages. We have partners who can help with up to 50 percent of the learning fee. First register in your chosen language, then apply for fee support with us.
Once your application is received and processed, details on how to join a class will be sent to you, please start receiving your lessons even before your fee support is approved.
Our tutoring sessions are anchored by native speakers. We believe that for best results and value for money, learners need to engage with tutors who are not only speakers but have the passion to teach.
Our tutors will take you on a learning journey, code switching between your African language and your first language to the point where the African language will be the only means of communication. We expect our language learners to attend two hours weekly of a combination of lecture and tutorials. Lectures are in bigger groups than the tutorials. Tutorials as you guessed right are interactive, fun and one you do not want to miss.
